	Eco-tourism benefits the local community. A human scale eco-tourism, based on the participation of rural people of the Makokou-Ovan region, is priority for FIGET. July - August 2004: Primary education programme FIGET contributed in the building of the primary school in the village of Loa-Loa (Makokou). Since September 2004 about a hundred children from Loa-Loa and from other nearby villages have had access to primary education. The FIGET's programme was possible thanks to the donations of the Cassa di Risparmio di Trento and Rovereto Foundation and of a group of friends from Milan (Italy).
